Hydrosol
Rose water is a flavoured water made by steeping rose petals in water. Additionally, our Very Rose Floral water is the hydrosol portion of the distillate of rose petals, a by-product of the production of rose oil for use in perfume. It is used to flavour food, as a component in some cosmetic and medical preparations and for religious purposes throughout Europe and Asia.
Our Very Rose Floral water is an excellent complement after bathing because they are gentle enough to be used directly on the skin or use it as a body mist after a shower.

Details
Hydrosols are often used in creating body products. They are also popular for use in other herbal preparations. They are an excellent complement to essentials because they are gentle enough to be used directly on the skin.
Hydrosols are distilled from the entire plant material, unlike essential oils which are often obtained from select parts of the plant. Therefore, hydrosols may smell quite different and distinct when comparing them to the essential oil of the same plant.
To prolong the shelf life, we recommend our Very Rose Floral water to be stored in the refrigerator from the time of purchase.

In medieval Europe, rose water was used to wash hands at a meal table during feasts.
Rose water is a usual component of perfume. A rose water ointment is occasionally used as an emollient and rose water is sometimes used in cosmetics such as cold creams, toners and face wash. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a good tool against skin disorders such as Rosacea and eczema. In India also use rose water as spray applied directly to the face for natural fragrance and moisturizer, especially during winters.
